We invite you to participate in the first annual Alachua County Homeschool Fair hosted by Friends of Alachua County Homeschoolers. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your organization or business to the more than fourteen hundred home educated students in Alachua County. This exciting event will connect homeschooling families with resources, businesses, homeschool groups and other organizations who seek to meet their needs.
Proceeds will benefit Friends of Alachua County Homeschoolers (FoACH), a non-profit, unincorporated organization that exists to provide support, resources, education, and advocacy for homeschooling families in Alachua County. We are excited about all of the educational opportunities that our community has to offer! To help celebrate these options and to spread the word about them, we have invited businesses, organizations, and groups from around the county to participate. The fair will be held at the Union Academy/Rosa B. Williams Recreation Center, located at 524 NW 1st St in Gainesville, on August 24, 2013, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m..
Space is reserved in the order in which we receive requests, so please register today at http://friendsofhomeschoolers.blogspot.com/p/alachua-county-homeschool-fair.html. Organizations must provide their own tents and tables and power extension cables. Please confirm your participation by August 12, 2013.
